1921-2021: One hundred years after the first opera staged at the Sferisterio- Aida on 27 July 1921 - the Macerata Opera Festival is preparing for a year of celebratory activities that will culminate in next summer's program. Scheduled:
LA TRAVIATA
by Giuseppe VerdiPerhaps the most representative and iconic title of the Sferisterio productions of the last thirty years, La traviata "degli specchi" conceived in 1992 (and then revived for another seven editions until 2018) by Josef Svoboda and Henning Brockhaus will be rearranged with new costumes.
